HMRC Advance Assurance covers Lunor Pay's planned £250,000 SEIS and £700,000 EIS rounds, a key milestone ahead of its 2026 platform launch.

Securing Advance Assurance under both SEIS and EIS is a major step forward for Lunor Pay. It reflects the groundwork our team has put in from day one.”

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Lunor Pay Ltd, the UK fintech building a unified payment platform that brings together Visa card technology, multi-currency FX and concierge purchasing in a single account, has secured Advance Assurance from HM Revenue & Customs under both the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) and the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), as the company prepares to launch its platform in 2026.

The assurance, issued by HMRC's Venture Capital Reliefs Team on 28 September 2026, covers Lunor Pay's full planned raise of £950,000: a £250,000 SEIS round followed by a £700,000 EIS round. It indicates that HMRC expects to be able to authorise the company to issue SEIS and EIS compliance certificates in respect of Ordinary Shares issued to individual investors.

The application was prepared and submitted through SeedLegals, the UK legal and funding platform for start-ups, with BDM Wealth Management supporting the Lunor Pay team throughout as its capital introduction partner.

Advance Assurance gives prospective investors an early indication, directly from HMRC, that the company's shares are expected to qualify for the tax reliefs available under SEIS and EIS, subject to the company continuing to meet the qualifying conditions when shares are issued.

"Securing Advance Assurance under both SEIS and EIS is a major step forward for Lunor Pay," said Corey Payne, CEO of Lunor Pay. "It gives the people who back us at the earliest stage real clarity, and it reflects the groundwork our team has put in from day one. SeedLegals made the process clear and efficient, and BDM Wealth Management has been a strong partner throughout. Our focus now is on bringing the platform to market."

"From a compliance perspective, SeedLegals were outstanding to work with: thorough, responsive and precise at every stage of the application," said Mark Johnson, Director of BDM Wealth Management. "Lunor Pay came to the process well prepared, and assurance across both schemes is a real milestone for a company at this stage. We're delighted to have supported Corey and the team."

With Advance Assurance in place, Lunor Pay plans to open its £250,000 SEIS round first, followed by its £700,000 EIS round, as it moves towards launch. Further information is available at lunorpay.com.
